The Third Beit HaMikdash

“I saw the height of the House, all around.”3Ibid.:8. The exact height is not stated in the verse. Tractate Middos states4See Middos 4:6. that the Second Beis HaMikdash was 100 cubits high and delineates the details of this height. Nevertheless, the Future Beis HaMikdash may not be this height, for the Beis HaMikdash built by King Shlomoh was 20 cubits taller than the Second Beis HaMikdash, as Scripture states:5II Chronicles 3:4. “It was 120 cubits high.”
